Andrologist
Advance your andrology career at the UK's leading fertility provider. JD Healthcare is looking for a skilled Andrologist to deliver expert laboratory science where it matters most.
About Us
JD Healthcare Group is one of the UK's leading fertility and reproductive healthcare providers, operating brands including London Women's Clinic, London Egg Bank, London Sperm Bank, KindIVF, Surrey Park Women's Clinic and Elective Egg Freezing across the United Kingdom. Since 1985, we have been supporting individuals and families through some of the most significant journeys of their lives — combining world-class clinical expertise with genuine human care. Everything we do is driven by a shared purpose: helping people build the families they dream of.
About the Role
As an Andrologist at JD Healthcare, you'll play a vital specialist role in our IVF laboratory, taking responsibility for the analysis and preparation of male reproductive samples across a range of fertility treatments. Working within a close-knit multidisciplinary team, you'll apply your expertise in semen analysis, sperm preparation and cryopreservation to directly support patient care — from IUI through to IVF and ICSI cycles. This is a role that demands precision, scientific rigour and a genuine commitment to quality at every stage. If you're an experienced andrologist looking to develop your practice in a specialist fertility setting, we'd love to hear from you.
What You Will Do
Perform advanced semen analysis in line with WHO guidelines, assessing concentration, motility, morphology and vitality to the highest standards of accuracy
Carry out a range of sperm preparation techniques — including density gradient centrifugation, swim-up and Zymot — for IVF, ICSI and IUI procedures
Process and prepare surgical sperm retrieval samples (PESA, TESA, micro-TESE) in close collaboration with the clinical team

Maintain accurate documentation and full sample traceability, ensuring compliance with HFEA regulations and laboratory quality standards
Undertake routine quality control, equipment maintenance and audit participation, contributing to continuous service improvement
Communicate results clearly with embryologists and clinicians, actively contributing to treatment planning and patient management discussions
